Application to Join The Lotteries Council

Only available to Society Lotteries and Suppliers in the UK

There are Four Categories of Membership:

Associate Members Services - Introductory/Taster Services for small Charity Lottery Operations with Turnover less than £100,000: Annual fee £30

• SILVER - Local Authority Registered Lottery Operators : Annual Fee £155

• GOLD - Gambling Commission Licensed Operators: Annual Fee £195

• PLATINUM - External Lottery Managers and Service Providers: Annual Fee £295 and there is an additional entrance fee of £25 payable on joining for the first time or after a period of absence.

• New Members, excluding Associate Members, will automatically be subject to an Early Settlement Fee as they will be paying when joining and also paying a Joining Fee of £25


New Members, excluding Associate Members, will be charged according to the date of joining as follows:

• Joining during the period 1st January to 28th February - 100% of Annual Fee

• Joining during the period 1st March to 31st May - 75% of Annual Fee

• Joining during period 1st June to 31st August - 50% of Annual Fee

• Joining during period 1st September to 30th November - 25% of Annual Fee

• Joining after 1st December, remaining time included in next year's Fee

• None of these Fees will be subject to VAT

Any person or organisation engaged in activities connected with lawful lotteries may apply for membership of the Lotteries Council by completing the application form below.

In making this application I/we confirm as follows:

1. I/we will pay the annual membership subscription in January (which may be varied from time to time by the Board of the Council).
2. I/we will abide by the memorandum and articles of association of the Council.
3. That all lottery schemes promoted by me/us and/or on our behalf will conform to all relevant laws and regulations.
4. I/we may not purport to speak on behalf of the Council unless duly authorised by the Board to do so.
5. That I/we understand that applications for membership are considered by the Board of the Council, whose discretion is absolute and whose decision on an application is final.
6. I/we agree that the following details about me/us can be available to other members of the Council (on the Members’ Section of the Council’s website and the Register of Members): Name, Organisation, Address, Telephone No., Email Address and, if applicable, that I am a Lottery Manager.
