LC Services are aimed at providing advice, support and benefits to all categories of Membership, the majority of Services are provided FOC to all Members with Member Specific Services charged by Suppliers at LC specially discounted rates.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER SERVICES

SUMMARY OF FULL MEMBER SPECIAL SERVICES

LC has arranged for the following advice services to be provide to Full Members at the rates and approach listed below:

Advice Service Activities and Providers

  • Legal Advice provided by Joelson Wilson LLP
  • VAT and Taxation Advice provided by Professional VAT Consultants
  • Employment Law Advice provided by Leathes Prior’s Employmentor scheme
  • Data Protection Advice provider to be confirmed

Charge Rates

  • Answers to questions by telephone/email, i.e. 'An initial Steer' are FOC as the LC is paying for this service
  • More detailed advice is provided by Advice Providers and heavily discounted rates. Charges will be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate

Service Provision Approach

If as a Full Member, you have question for or need advice from one of the advisers, the procedure outlined below should be followed:

  • Make your enquiry by telephone or email, some advisers may have a dedicated inbox
  • As a response, within 24 hours you will receive an ‘Initial Steer’, i.e. a starting point, a basic answer to your question. This will be provided either by telephone or email
  • The advice so far is FOC
  • If after a brief discussion with an adviser, you need further In-depth advice, this will be charged at special discounted rates

In order that LC can determine how cost effective these services are, all requests for advice will be monitored.
